A friend of mine has an XPS M1530 and the HDD failed on him outside of warranty. He bought a new HDD but can't find the OEM OS discs that came with it. Is there any place to download those ISOs so that I can get him back up and running? Dell told him tough luck because its out of warranty.

    Thanks

Thanks, joker. If I were to find an anytime upgrade torrent, would it just ask for the key on the bottom of the laptop after I install it?

I don't understand why Dell doesn't just upload those ISOs to the Drivers & Downloads page... its not like you can do anything with them without a key anyway...

Any reason your buddy doesn't want Windows 7?

I'm sure theres a torrent for Vista out there, but NBR doesn't like us talking about it ;)

Also it may have viruses if you get it from a torrent.

Like I said before, I can have a Vista Anytime Upgrade(all versions) disk shipped out tomorrow in a small flat rate box for the $5 shipping cost.
