    I'm sceptic about the 1x2048MB + 1X1024MB in the 3GB model ... Is this dual channel good ?? Should I take the 3GB ??

Take the 1 gig and upgrade yourself for 1/4 th price, also, as far as dual channel, 3 gigs is better than 2 even in dual channel.

Yeah, I'm just getting 1GB. Then I'm going to buy 4GB of faster PC2-6400 from Newegg for $80.
