Doesn't seem like there's much reason for non-Penryn machines to be flashed.

Your probably right. However, I'm going to be putting in a Penryn in a couple months, so I will do it.

For those of you who have flashed from A05 to A07, do you notice any difference in operating temps? Or any other differences?

I'd like to know as well, but I doubt there's going to be any noticeable changes.

No noticeable difference for me. The BIOS settings also didn't change even the administration PW

Hey sinstoic, do you know of a link to earlier versions of driver and BIOS files? (In case someone wanted to reinstall an earlier version.)

This new BIOS only does one thing. Make our T7500's feel outdated.

...and how does it do that? Just because it is for the Penryn cpu?
