    XPS M1530 Contents??

    I saw a thread on this from searching, but it was from 2007 so the situation may be different now...

    Do the accessories which come bundled with the M1530 (Slip case, cloth, headphones, CD/DVD leather book) all come with UK orders too? As these threads seem to have differing answers on this issue. As lots of people seem to be buying these i thought it would be a good way to find out :)

    Also, is there any reason some people get 2 remotes? Are you supposed to?

    I received my 1530 May 20th and only got the cloth, none of the other extras, I emailed Dell about this and have been told it was a limited offer which has now expired, however I'm still in dispute with them over this as other people who ordered same time as me did get all the extras. It seems like it's down to luck.

    It'd be silly how the remote is still shown on the M1530 website yet they dont come with it? I got everything, cloth, earbuds, remote, etc. Unless you are getting a refurb, you should receive it all.

    Hmm, i expect the remote is with everyone's, and i think they're all supposed to ship in the slip case. Earbuds and the leather book seem to be more mixed :(

    This would be another reason for me to choose an XPS over their normal consumer line.

    Hopefully more people can chime in about the situation because I really wanted to upgrade to a M1530.

    That sucks. I thought the xps came with all kinds of goodies included. I'll be sad if its just a clothe and my laptop.

    Got mine today (see sig)

    All it came with was the remote and a black case to put teh laptop in.

    I did not get the slipcase. But I did get the cd case, microfiber cloth, earbuds, etc.... Mine was a refurb too.

    I ordered mine on the 31st and it arrived on the 9th. It had all the goodies.

    I actually didn't know they were part of the package.

    I've sent a letter of complaint to Dell head office about this, people who ordered after me get all the goodies yet I get told it was an offer that his expired - what a joke!
