    XPS M1530 Died... I think its the 8600GT...

    So yup, I think my XPS M1530 GPU died. When I press the power button, the system appears to be normal, without any weird lights, beeping, or anything, just the display doesnt show. Not even the bios startup with Dell logo....

    Is there still something in place where I could do something about this due to the defect?

    Do you get video externally?

    Is it still under Dell warranty? Dell did extend the warranty on models officially affected by the defective chips.
