    Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T8300 (2.4GHz/800Mhz FSB, 3MB Cache)
4GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz (2 Dimms)
High Resolution, glossy widescreen 15.4 inch LED LCD
    256MB NVIDIA® GeForce® 8600M GT
    320GB 5400rpm SATA Hard Drive
Yesterday I ordered this Computer. I have been reading a few posts about the 7200RPM Hard drive and decided to look at my order to see if this was an option. It seems today the computer is 100.00 cheaper and there are more options. [I ordered through a Dell partner purchase program so the options were a bit different then the regular site]

I would like to know which is better :
    Full Hi Definition, glossy widescreen 15.4 inch LCD (1920x1200) & 2.0 M
    or the
High Resolution, glossy widescreen 15.4 inch LED LCD (1440x900)

I am also wondering if I should try to upgrade to the Speed: 320GB SATA Hard Drive (7200RPM) with Free Fall Sensor [add $120] I will be using for mainly internet and games.
I have never bought anything from the Dell site before, If I call will they even change my order.

I'd stick with 1440x900 as 1920x1200 is too small for a 15.4" screen. It's also better to get the stock hard drive and just buy one from Newegg or elsewhere. The hard drives from Dell are more expensive. Especially an extra $120 just for higher speed and Free Fall Sensor.

What's a "free fall sensor"? I would just get the cheapest HDD there is then just get another HDD from some place cheap like Hirohata mentioned. and I have the 1440x900 and it's beautiful! :)

Basically the head of the hard drive locks itself when accelerating at a certain speed e.g. when dropped, to prevent damage to the drive, and cause data loss.

Hope you enjoy your M1530 when it arrives~ :)
