Hi all i just orderd my new m1530 and i am very excited but now that i am waiting i will formate it clean after i recive it. But before i do that i need to go download drivers and use it afterwords is there any link where i can get all i need? I am new at computers but i do hate bloats of usless junk. This is my spec.

    XPS M1530
    Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T7500 (2.2GHz/800Mhz FSB, 4MB Cache)
    256MB NVIDIA® GeForce® 8600M GT
    Genuine Windows® Vista Ultimate Edition
2GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz (2 Dimms)
    120GB 5400rpm SATA Hard Drive
    Intel Next-Gen Wireless-N Mini-card
Integrated Sound Blaster Audigy HD Software Edition

My other question is the windows vista ultimate edition is it 32bit or 64?
and i got the intel wireless N mini card but at home i got a Belkin Wireless G Plue Router will it work or do i need to buy a new N router? thanks

    it's 32 bit windows ultimate

and your existing router should work fine with the new wireless card (well, mine does!)

Try the Dell Downloads & Support section, under drivers.

All the drivers are included on a CD with the computer, but to download go to Dells support site.

All Microsoft OS's that are shipped on machines are 32-Bit typically, unless further mentioned to be 64-Bit.

A/B/G/N routers usually can talk to each other with no problem. Although for that Wireless-N card to get it's FULL speed, the router you're talking to will also have to be a N router. Basically, the higher we go in the alphabet on router names, the faster they are. And to tap into those higher speeds, both computer and access point/router have to be the same.
