I have been having a rather frustrating problem go on for a while now, the backlight on the LCD does not turn on when the laptop is powered on. If I hold it under a bright light, I can see the display it self is working with a lite imiage. After I open/close the lid a billion times it usually goes on then. I opened it up and re-seated all the cables, did not work, then i changed the inverter bored, did not work, im at a loss of where to go next. Also one other issue is getting the backlight to power off, I have to open/close the lid many times, or pull the battery for it to happen.
