Got a PCMark05 score of 5880 yesterday with my XPS 1530.
Is that good?

That's about what I'd expect, I haven't tested mine though, so it's only a guess

I think you're in the ballpark with the one. Don't have an XPS M1530 to check, but it sounds okay. Hoping to break the 10k barrier?
Maybe if you update you're drivers you'll get some extra points, but don't expect a huge increase. -
Depends on what resolution you run on.

What other settings can I use to improve the score?
What are some of the other Dell scores here? -

My PcMark05 is 5950 or something, I have a 2.6GHz CPU though, is this on par?
My 3Dmark is 4790 -
Wow! It only took 9 months to get a reply to my last thread. LOL
I've just built a HOT desktop a couple days ago that will blow away my XPS.
I will be running the PCMark06 score tomorrow on it.

Sick! I'm more interested in your 3DM06 score. How much did everything cost?

My PC building days are over, sick of chasing my tail with regards to hardware, plus I can't stop buying so a laptop is the best way to halt all that
XPS M1530 PCMark05 score = 5880
