    Hey guys

I just ordered a dell m1530 and it came it today. Honestly.... With the money I spent on this system I'm pretty disappointed. The system casing, the screen... It is a nice laptop, but I think with the money I spend, I could've gotten a much better one. I'm actually already deciding of returning, and it's only been 3 hours lol.

But anyways... Aside from the point that I'm a little disappointed, the laptop came with Vista pre-installed. I hate Vista so I want to uninstall it and install XP instead.

Can someone please tell me, or forward me a link (a legit one) that will do the job?

I've been looking it up and different instructions keeps popping up, I want to make sure I follow the correct one.

    THanks

There are a few steps more to perform for the XPS to install Windows XP, because this system was designed to work with windows Vista, so you will have to do a little bit of work. Here is a guide that will show you how to install Windows XP properly in this computer, and it will direct you to download some software to trick your Windows XP CD so you can install it in your XPS, here is the link: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=212981 in there you will find the drivers (support.dell.com does not have the drivers since this computer does not ship with XP) and be aware that your computer will not have any support if you downgrade to Windows XP, that is a Dell policy.
