I have a M1530 that i downgraded to XP Pro..i am trying to use my Verizon broad band card but the laptop is not recognizing the card. So I used my wifi card and it doesn't detect it either, neither does the vzaccess manager. I installed all the XP drivers. Is there anthing I'm missing?

Have you checked the wi-fi switch on the r/s of your laptop to make sure it's on. Can you see either card in device manager? If you can see them but with a yellow exclamation point you need to install a driver.

Any fix to the express card slot when it doesn't hold the media remote? Appears that the spring is no longer functioning  I have to pull it out with a toothpick in order to get it out. I've tried using the "filler card" too and I get the same results (have to pull it out with a thin object)

Device manager wouldn't see the slot, only the device plugged in to the slot. From what I can tell "bcm2045" is your bluetooth.

Isn't there an option in the bios to enable it? I dont see that option either..i uninstalled the vzaccess manager and reinstalled it but Windows doesn't bother to detect the card at all.
