    XPS M1530 no longer seeing Optical Drive

    As title. What are my options? Anybody know of a good replacement (either DVD +/- RW or Blu Ray Rom) What slim line drive would defo fit.

    How easy is it to swap out and/or do you think a reinstall would help?

    No longer under warranty :(

    Have you tried going in to the device manager and clicking 'scan for hardware changes' to get the drive back ?

    Device manager is showing the drive but says cannot load driver for the device
