    y is the 1440x900 screen brighter 1680x1050 than the screen? And the worst part is that the 1680x1050 screen is also darker than 1280x800 the screen? Is that true? :confused:

    where the **** did u hear that...seeing as no1 has the 1440s or 1650s yet how would u come to that conclusion lol

    200 cd/m2 is by no means dark.

    i will probably just go for the 1440 resolution cuz its the brightest one without getting into the LEDs market which is normally very expensive. I currently have the 1280x800 one and when it sits next to my samsung 20-inch display, it looks like the display is OFF since it is so dark. I lowered the brightness on the samsung display to match the m1530 so it would be easier to work with a dual-monitor interface.
