    Nope, I told them that I was promised them (which I was) and since I didn't receive them it felt like I was lied too just to get me to buy the system. I just pretty much told them I felt like I was suckered into buying this system when I was promised all these extras.

    Well I finally talked to someone who would listen to me and now im getting a cd case, creative earbuds, and a monster screen cleaning kit.....WooHoo!!! The girl I talked to was super nice!!! We even chatted a little while she was doing the stuff on the computer haha.....no gift card but its good enough for me!!

    It wasn't a big deal to me, but I'm glad I called. I got 100 dollar gift card for calling.


    So I say if it matters call them, see what you can get. Don't listen to anyone that tries to tell you to calm down. It's your order, not theirs.

    Just got my XPS M1530 from the outlet today, it came with the earbuds and the leather case, but not the case. I'll probably bug Dell for one. :D

    I called dell customer service three times today to get headphones, cloths, and leather binder.
    But all the reps are saying that since those items do not show on the invoice, im not supposed to get those.. lol

    I have a friend who ordered the same M1530 as mine and gave them his invoice, which apparently don't have those items listed in the invoice but still received them. But they are still giving me the same response over and over again.

    After talking to them on phone for 2 hours, I got so tired of them being asses that I just wanted to hang up the phones.. I guess this is dell's strategy for these issues... lol

    Anyone has an idea?

    keep calling... and get a different CSR every time... i tried twice, and was successful, though my freebie $-value isnt as much as those people who got a $100 GC..... {gimme one, i need to get a dell LCD soon, and a 19" sells for $160+...) :p

    I would love that $100 gift card because I want the X-fi notebook sound card ... but if I get the free extras I wouldn't complain either. I'll just wait to see if my laptop comes with them in the box or not.

    just got my XPS M1530 in US.....just had the sleeve and the remote.....no headphones,cloth,CD case or the binder.....will call and see what dell says....

    i called dell today evening and they said all those items are not in stock and offered a $50 coupon.......they said all those things are not worth more than $50.....is it true?.....i asked for a 75$ coupon but they said it was not possible....

    You guys should just keep trying, be nice to the rep and theyll be nice back toyou too :D... just keep trying and you'll eventually somebody thats willing to help you out. I got a $75 dollar coupon!

    The computer case and remote is standard, the cleaning cloth, cd booklet and earbuds is if they have it in stock they throw it in as a compliment. I didnt get the complimentary items so i called today and I finally got to a nice sales rep and he let me spend 75$ in the dell store so i got a 50$ headset and a 20$ cd bookelt. I was also on dell chat earlier and that person is sending me the creative earbuds for free ^^

    When i called, I got directed to a nice sales rep who was trying to get the things for me for free, and guess what he said, since he also ordered a 1330 and a 1530 for himself a while back, he got those accessories and he decided to look at his invoice to see if it was listed, and it wasn't so if the people keep saying we can't give them to you because it's not listed, try to find a nice sales rep to help you out, he directed me to a higher department for problems that can't be solved and they let me spend $75 in the dell store and i got a pair of $50 headtset and a $20 cd booklet. Good Luck guys.

    So just to clear things up. The case and the media remote are standard and *should* (meaning they cant deny me on the phone) some with the laptop? My ESD is for 8/14 so I hope I get them. I really want the media remote and the creative earbuds but a GC would be nice too if I don't get that.

    well like it was said earlier, the case and remote are pretty much standards that come with all the systems. Now, the cleaning cloth, creative earbuds, and cd binder are not listed in the invoice, when you cal em up to complain, make sure to tell them that its not supposed to be listed in the invoice, they werent part of a special offer and that it was disappointing to not find them in your box, because it was one of the laptop's strongest selling points... well that what i did (i mixed and matched what alot of users here said they had told the Dell reps.)
