    XPS M1530, how to remove fingerprint info?

    I'm considering selling my M1530. How do I remove the fingerprint info stored in hardware mode?

    Open the fingerprint application and look around. On mine you go to Identity and select "delete user data".

    I have upgraded my software, so mine may be a little different, but it's something like that.

    It's not really a problem to leave it there as it does not actually store your fingerprint. It is not possible to create a copy of an actual fingerprint from the data it stores.
