Should the laptop power on without a video card installed? I had the artifacting on my screen and removed the card and added new thermal paste after cleaning off the old pad. It ran great for awhile and I assume it finally died on me. Now even if I remove the card the laptop will not power on at all either on a known good battery or a/c power??? So the mb is probably dead now also?
