Is the BIOS listed on the Dell site the most updated for the 1710? I really don't want to have to buy a BIOS checker to see if there is anyting newer available. I tried a few of the "free BIOS download" sites, but they only let you download their checker for free...want you to pay to get more info (and I have no idea if they are accurate or not).

Alternatively, if you know of a reliable BIOS version checker/upgrade site that is worth the $$, I'll take that as well.

    Thanks in advance...bill

A07 is the most up to date BIOS for the M1710. When I had my 1710 I was running it without issues.

My 2 cents, only download your BIOS updates from DELL. Leave those other sites alone. ;)
