    Hey Guys!

Ive been reading posts here for ages but this is my first thread. Ive searched for answers to this issue also but found nothing. Hopefully someone can help me. :)

Firstly here is my laptop specs: M1730
T9300, 4GB RAM, 2x200 GB HDD, 2x 8800M GTX SLi, Vista 32bit (no physics card)

    Forceware: 167.55

I have a couple of issues which I need help with.

The main problem Im having is with my laptop running Battlefield 2142. It seems that it runs it really well at all resolutions and settings (high or low) and I always get 80 - 100 fps in fraps tests. But for some reason there is this constant slight stutter when I play even in singleplayer. It doesnt matter what resolution or anything it is still there. It is almost like lag from a crappy connection but its not my connection. I mean the whole game doesnt stop and stutter its more like an annoying lag where its just enough to make me over correct and miss my targets and get pwned. Sometimes even the enemy models skip frames while they are running...like they disappear and reappear a few feet away which makes it impossible for me to shoot them obviously  its just really frustrating. Pretty much every other game I have runs really well. Like COD 4 and stuff so its really strange. Is it an SLi problem?? I heard it could be that fps can be too high and can make it like there is mouse lag??

Here is what Ive done to try to fix the problem. I downloaded ntune and set the Sli config to Single Gpu and its still there and I tried AFR 1 and its still there. I also forced V-Sync and its still there...

Does anyone with a similar setup play Battlefield 2142 and haven the same problem?? I figure it must be a SLi problem because I can play it fine on my way crappier desktop with a 7600 GT...

Could it be my driver?? What is the best driver for the 8800M GTX in SLi?? On that topic also I cannot install any driver unless it comes from Dell's website because it say there is no hardware on my laptop which it goes with even though there is. But people are always saying they have all these other drivers but how do you install them??

Also another thing that is annoying which i hope doesnt only happen to me is whenever i open a game up in a non native resolution (not 1920x1200) then this little popup message comes up on the taskbar that says something like "your resolution can be improved, it is made to run on 1920x1200" and it tells me to click it and then the screen flashes and nothing changes because i havent changed the resolution im just trying to play a game. Freakin pisses me off hey. How can i stop that from happening? Some games dont let me open them in that resolution so they opened windowed because of that bloody popup!

Sorry this is really long winded but ONE LAST THING.

What do you all have your global SLi Performance settings on?? Originally it said custom but I changed it and now The only options are Split Frame, AFR 1, AFR 2 or Single GPU....

Thanks a lot guys any help would be awesome!!!! :D
