I'm thinking it's video issue. I'd open it up and noticed it has replacable video card. Upon disassembling, I noticed the video card doesn't look like a video chip, more like a controller. The GPU seem more like it's on the main board instead. Anyone disagree or any comments please help. Want to make sure before I order a new video card (MXM). Shux it doesn't have VGA out so i can tried ext monitor. It has S-video out, but my cable doesn't fit, must came with it's own cable or something. So it's on but nothing is on the screen but bright white lights meaning the inverter is working. I guess i'll have to order the video card and see.

Man..I hope I didn't double post. I couldn't find the other one. Anyway, order the mxm card didn't work. Gotta be the GPU onboard. Hate to take it apart all the way to the LCD to see if it uses the standard pin and tried different LCD. $50 down the drain.

Oh, no, this is not a 2 year old typer but is using my 2yr old son's laptop dell 840 with a lot of missing key, including the space bar.

My mother always said, if you dont have anything nice to say, "shut your potty hole!"
