When I barely move the screen on my m1330 it pops up the usb message "this device can perform faster" and the blue led light next to the webcam blinks a few times. This is a really weird problem and was wondering if anyone else had this problem and fixed it? It is really annoying as every time I barely move the screen it blinks and makes that usb sound.

When the USB Performance message pop up, which device is it talking about? Check the message, it will specify which device is using USB 1.0 protocols.

It's not talking about any devices. All of the ports say unused ports. It's just that when I move the screen the blue lights near the webcam blink and make that usb alert noise. Could it have to do something with the wiring?

yea, the webcam (and mic's?) are attached by internal usb.. its possible the wire is getting compressed/bent out of shape when you move the screen, thus crippling the transfer rate.. get it looked at by dell ;D

I had a technician come out to fix it about 2 months ago and he said that the wiring on the usb wiring looked like they were out of placed, that's what caused the usb message to keep popping up when I moved the screen. He fixed it and now the usb message rarely pops up anymore.
