Is there anywhere to buy these batteries besides Dell? The price on the six cell is like 130 which is absurd for a battery I think. This is even after it has come down and they have recovered from the factory fire. There was a 6 cell on ebay a few days ago for 79.99 but I was too scared to jump on it. Are there any other sites for this?

Also, the 4 cell is not even on sale separately at all. Why is this? Is there anywhere to buy just a 4-cell battery or can you only buy it with the actual laptop?

On ebay they have many dell batteries but almost none for the M1330.

$130 is a good deal on a 6 cell today compared to what Dell wanted 2 weeks ago.

    $199 for 6 cell, $299 for a 9 cell.

Suck it up and buy it from Dell for $130.

The manufacturer for Dell battery actually had a big fire and that is the reason why Dell batteries shot up so high in price.

    Cheers,

The price hike should be done any day. They are producing them back in normal production amounts at the moment.

So when the price hike is done what will be the normal price?

Also, I wouldn't buy it for 130 ever considering I saw a good one on ebay for 79.99 last week. It is also puzzling to me why there are such a plethora of 9-cell batteries but the 6 and the 4 cell even moreso seem to be rare and MORE expensive than their longer-lasting counterpart.

The "factory fire" price hike is a thing of the past. The prices you see on Dell for 1330 batteries are the same as they were BEFORE the factory fire and price hike.

Looks like it's Ebay for you and a battery if you don't want to buy direct from Dell.
