I have had my m1530 for about two years now with no issues. Two days ago, my screen suddenly turned a pale yellow colour where it should be white. This happened as I was using it. If I adjusted the screen on its hinge in a certain way I could fix it however.

I took off the media cover and poked around at the wires that go through the hinges towards the lcd. For whatever reason this fixed the problem for one day. I booted up the computer yesterday and it was back to its pale yellow.

I tried hooking up the laptop to an external monitor and found that the picture looked fine on it. This leads me to believe that there is likely a problem with lcd or the wires that connect to the lcd.

Has anyone had a similar experience or does anyone know exactly what my problem is? Anyone know how to fix it?

    Thanks
