    XPS m1530 delays?

    Hi all,
    My first order was placed in early November, and the shipping got delayed a couple of times. On 12/3 I decided, what the heck, I'll go ahead and change the specs (they left me too much time to second-guess my previous order). But now the ESD is tomorrow 12/11 and still no shipping. I am concerned they will send me the e-mail tomorrow saying it is delayed again. I need this as a gift for Christmas. There was no component when I ordered that said, "May cause delays." Anyone know if these things are being delayed regularly these days? If so, why give out ESDs they can't keep? Anyone order it recently and get it when they said?

    HA! I know how you feel...My Mini 9 was supposed to ship today :( And, I got a Order Delay email..pushing it out til 12/19. :(

    According to Dell..due to the XMas holiday..and all the orders..they just can't keep up with them.

    So, if you want to try the *I will cancel approach* It just may work for your benefit. I brought that up today with the Resolution Specialist..and they are getting back with me tomorrow! ;)

    Good luck to you..I know it's hard to remain *patient* when you really want something, and have been waiting...and waiting...

    Very strange. I ordered an m1530 on 12/1 and it shipped on 12/6. Definately give them a call.
