In the Top 10 Questions Thread it is mentioned that the Intel card is better than the Dell 1505. I just ordered a 1530 yesterday that has the Dell card and have a few questions.

    1. Does the Dell card always suck or is it hit or miss?

    2. Is this the Intel card?

    3. Is it something that can be easily swapped out?

    Thanks in advance.

    1. i donno anything abt the dell card

    2. yes it is. this intel card. this can handle IEEE 802.11a;IEEE 802.11b;IEEE 802.11g;IEEE 802.11n (draft) standards and it plugs into the PCIex 1x slot inside ur laptop.

    3. yes usually in dell laptops the pciex 1x slots are found right under the keyboard and the dismantling instructions are given in the users manual (i appreciate dell highly for this). so it takes little effort to replace one

    1. The other issue with the Dell 1505 is connectivity. As of yet not all N routers are made equal and depending on which one you have/get you could find you're not getting the best throughput with the Dell 1505.
