Since alienware launched their new 15.4" notebook with 8800gtx, i wondered if it would be possible to fit it inside an xps m1530 or if any other notebook companies is going to offer 15.4" notebooks with 8800gtx?

Okay thought so.. But dell owns alienware so you would never know hehe ;)

The problem is, here in Denmark you can't buy alienware with a danish keyboard.

Wouldnt it be possible to fit a 8800gtx into a Vostro 1500, its alot thicker and bigger compared to m1530.

Even if they could fit it in a 1530 [and it won't. Really.] they wouldn't do that as it wouldn't be good for Alienware's sales. Sort of like why they removed the 8600M GT from the Inspirons, so consumers will be drawn to the 1530.

m1530 is to small, to thin to fit 8800 card. m15x is much bigger then m1530 even if the screen size are the same.

I would not get that, because the 8800M GTX would make it WAAAY to hot and too thick and heavy for my tastes. I'm way happy with my 1530.

I'm disappointed because it says that DDR2-667 is standard on that notebook - I thought the Penryn chipset was going to have DDR3-800 as its standard.

But still, DUAL hard drives, an 8800M GTX, AND WUXGA? That thing must be like 3" thick!

Just checked their site - 1.30" thick and 7 lbs. Wow! That's compact for such a monsters!
