    Hi all

    I recently revived my xps m1730 (purchased on 2006 or so) and for some reason one of the 250GB hard drives isnt there anymore. i remember the total space of one drive being 500GB or so. also i see both hard drives in the booting screen.

    thank you. will add more if anything comes up.

    sounds like your hard drive is on the way out...
    but since 2006 it its a pretty good run; if u can try to get your data off the drive...

    i upgraded the hard drives in my m1730 to a 500gb ssd and a 1tb mechanical....
    omg the m1730 really likes the ssd
