It's 8 pounds, 2 inches thick, 3,000 for STOCK, and the power brick alone is 2 pounds. ***Bloatware*** also. Anyways, i'm going to order a high end gaming laptop soon like... nov 26 to dec 1. i KNOW dell is reliable but is this chunky thing really worth it? I saw a review and it couldnt play games at its native resolution or something. If you bring the resolution down a notch it'll be fine but who the hell wants to play at lowest res? Please help

Get a 7950GTX or Alienware who's goin to release a 8800GTX probably runs everything at max fine.
Dual 8700GT is not bad it's pretty fast also. If you'want to play games @1920x900 only 8800GTX SLI could handle it. 1280x800 is good enough for frame rates and quality that that 8700GT SLI can handle. -

lots and lots of gaming. 90% gaming, 5% schoolwork, 10% music
-
It's a good laptop - specially for the price in Australia compared to other laptops. It also looks very flashy - after getting this laptop, I don't think I'll ever have to visit the "Cosmetics" section of these forums. Lol.

Math > You. -
Perhaps the Original Poster should spend less than 90% of this time gaming and spend more than 5% of his time on his school work. -
whoa whoa whoa whoa...did i seriously just type that!?!
-
Too much gaming for you
-
it's more than 10 pounds....exclude power brick..
u should wait for 8800mgtx laptop such as Alienware and Sager, and then make a wise decision -

Also, I run all my games at 1920x1200 no probs, just don't put on FSAA. -
hell no!!! all I do is game, and it didnt do it for me.

If you're a serious gamer you're better off building a good desktop/tower
