This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Ok heres a curly one,

    I know the dell note books seem to be fairly upgradable,and i have seen someone post that you should be able to put in the new core duo2 chips in the current core duo sockets,but do you think that when the new Directx10 graphics card finally come out(Nividia GO8000 ??)they will slot into a current M1710??If that was the case then theres no holding me back,just this Directx10 giving me the sh*ts :eek:

    If they are Nvidia MXM, I don't see why not - that's the whole point, right?
