This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     No one's heard any rumors about dell upgrading the xps m1710 have they? Or are they going to pretty much stay as is until at least the 8800 cards come out?

    Just wondering...

    Apparently no one's heard anything. It's weird - You'd expect them to offer some kind of direct x 10 solution (with, y'know, a slightly less horrible case ;) ) in much the same way as they upgraded it's little brother.
