    Hello,

I am looking to buy a laptop. I like a lot the XPS but I don't know if I should get one of this or if I should get a Centrino2 laptop.

What advantages would have a Centrino2 laptop with similar specs than the XPS? Is it really worth it?

    Thanks

    Current XPS:
Good... but some slight heat issues. In particular XPS 1330s overheating when customized with a discrete GPU. Can be partially remedied with copper mod. Not sure about the 1530, I assume it's a bit better though.

    Current Centrino 2s:
Lower power consumption and heat generation for equivalent processing power. X4500 integrated graphics are decent, but not completely game-worthy.
