That's not at all what my intention was, and I apologize if it came across that way.

    Are they over-priced? Probably
    Are they over-rated? Don't think so !

Bottom line is if you can use a coupon or discount to buy an XPS, I would not hesitate ! They are Awesome laptops.

I feel like dell is pretty reasonable with their prices, especially if you pick one up from the outlet or wait for a sale(which happens all the time).

Now you know whats overrated and over priced...... Alienware.

LoL that Ebay link is junk. It's funny how they advertise LED screen in the subject but actually have TrueLife LCD with Camera for XPS M1530 (1920x1200) as the listed screen.

He lists this on his ebay ad "In Production with Dell Now ETA April 28".

What the hell is this guy thinking. That laptop is only worth about 1900 dollars. I thought ebay was strictly for finding deals, not getting fleeced by some scum bag

I sure as hell hope no one buys that machine.

There is a sucker born every minute.

Just yesterday I looked for an extra power supply for my My Book on ebay and it was $24 after shipping. I went straight to WD's site and I paid $17 with shipping from them. Some people think that just because its ebay there getting a deal. Little do they know.

Speaking of "Phallus" I think that is half of what some people posting in this thread are all about :D (Sorry, couldnt resist)

Yeah, I can agree, ebay is overpriced. With the sale that was on earlier this week on M1530, I can bet he got it for around $1500. And even that price is not overpriced. Latest CPU, best Full HD LCD (not sure it is usable on 15" laptop), fully spec out laptop. Won't sell for $5K unless someone is stupid enough!
