Sorry for the possibly dumb question, but I was going to buy the 2015 XPS13 out at the beginning of the year and use the mDP port to connect my two U2515 Dell monitors.

I am very tempted to get the new XPS 13 but the new one has shipped with a USB Type C in the place of the mDP. How would I connect two U2515 to the XPS13? Do I need a converter?

    Thanks

I was also wondering about this. What cable would I have to use for hdmi. Would it be the same as the new Mac books?

As for your issue. You will need to buy a usb type c dock. Dell have there own which will be out in the new year which would provide a one cable from everything solution is keyboard charging and displays down the single ports. Obviously third party would be cheaper but I haven't seen too many.

Yeah but if this Dell dock (TB15 or WD15??) is not out until the new year, what do we do in the meantime? Surely this device needs to ship at the same time as the laptop!?

USB-C to DisplayPort cable in one U2515H, and daisy chain the second monitor to the first monitor? In theory it should work.

Daisy chaining should work without Thunderbolt, so my guess would be that a normal cable should work. However, I can't test it so I'm not 100% sure.
