I seem to have this problem everytime i try to update my drivers and all.

I'm running windows 7 64bit. It seems that everytime i update and then connect HDMI i get no idea output at all. Is there a specific process or specific driver we HAVE to use?

Also are there any controllers that work with the 9400m G on the xps 1340?

What TV do you plug your HDMI into? If it is a Philips/Magnavox then it seems you are out of luck. I have this problem, too, and NVIDIA decided that Philips/Magnavox TVs aren't compatible with NVIDIA cards. It used to work perfectly fine with drivers from about a year ago, but not anymore. I can't find a way to force it and I don't want to install drivers that old that don't work very well with Windows 7.

What do you mean by Fan Control?

I have tried many a program, none have worked on M1330.

The HDMI audio has been broken since the 19X nvidia drivers, for some reason since then every time you use HDMI it thinks your using DVI and therefore doesn't switch audio. The GPU drivers posted on Dell's driver page for this system work with HDMI audio.
