Hi all,
I'm toying with the idea of getting an XPS15 L502X as a portable photo editing station.
Now getting the B+RGLED screen is a given for me, but I'm wondering how easy it is to actually edit photos on what is a fairly small screen (I'm used to my 22" desktop).
Anyone out there with any experience? Is it a chore or a pleasure?

With windows 7 at 125% DPI, it's a pleasure to me.

I just got my xps 15 last week for the exact reason you're asking. I mostly edit with lightroom and for that, the xps has been amazing. Haven't really spent much time with photoshop on it yet. The hd screen is beautiful, and while using the icc profile included in the L502 thread, the colors are accurate enough. I will probably get a calibrator soon, but for now, good enough. My huge 5d mark ii raw files load instantly with no lag whatsoever (i7 2760qm, 8gb ram). loving it so far

Yes Lightroom is great, despite the title of my thread in honesty I use Lightroom 99% of the time.
Good that it copes with RAW files so well. I did wonder if the data throughput would be up to the job since laptop drives are slower than their desktop equivalents.
