I got a refurbished XPS 1530 as a complete care replacement for my old inspiron 8600. Following are the specs...

    T5450 1.66ghz
    128Mb 8400M GS
    2X1GB 667 MHz
    WXGA CCFL LCD display

Can someone help me in understanding if I need to upgrade the CPU/RAM...
If I need to upgrade CPU, can I install T8300?

I use this mainly for watching DVD, Web and MS-Office. Thanks

rest all luks gud, but yea T8300 or T8100 shud be better thn the T5450, coz they r newer and also less power consuming. 2gb ram is more thn enough these days and as u r not a gamer the 8400M Gs shud do the job.
