Hello iam about to pull the trigger on my xps but iam still in doupt somewhat on which screen to get. I'am really not interested in watching anything 3D and i dont play video games. Is the image quality that different between the two? Also with the 1080p screen does it require a 9 cell battery or iam i good with the 6 cell?

    My choices are 17.3" HD+ (900p) LED Display or 17.3" FHD (1080p) 3D Display?

I see that you already have the 16.0" High Definition HP Ultra BrightView Infinity (1920x1080). So if you goes with the 900p, you'll loose some there... and no you don't have to go with the 9cell battery if you stick with the 550...
