    XR878 screen del m1530

    Yesterday I bought a refurbished Dell m1530 and today I saw that Dell is sending the XR878 screen. I wonder if the problem of the grainy screen is for all of them.
    What do you recommend me, should I return the computer? I call Dell costumer support and they said that I can't cancel my order so the only way is to wait until I receive the computer.

    Just because they are sending one that has had problems with being grainy doesn't mean that specific one will. You have 3 weeks to return from the time you order to return for any reason. I would wait and return only if it is grainy.

    i dont think so...

    you could check for dead pixels, leaks, or granyness on a white background ( such as this webpage )

    And i would not worry about it being grany, mine is, and it doesnt bother me at all, but there could be worse...

    Just relax and enjoy your lappy ! problems will come soon enough ( hehe just kidding ) but if your not satisfied in any way you can just send it back.
