    Xps 13 Refresh???

    Anyone have a clue as to what and when we are going to get with a NEW XPS 13.
    I would love to see an i core CPU and a5000 series GPU.
    Any ideas people :)

    At the rate that Acer and Asus are moving their new laptops to the US market, Dell might still beat them with an XPS 13 refresh. :D I like what they did with the Vostro line. I would expect a significant upgrade in the GPU, so a mid range GT 300 series NVIDIA or HD 5000 series ATI is likely.

    Comes all too late to interest me. Unless something catastrophic happens, it'll be the Acer 3820TG for me.

    Yeah ACER looks like it has a winner with the 3820TG, 5650HD and i7-620M are a grand slam(whenever it comes out) but i'm keeping my options open until it actually gets released and we can start ordering these badboys.
    You never know.....

    I'm the only holdout in my company for the Acer. We just brought our whole office onto Windows 7 and upgraded our laptops. They ordered Vostro 3400's and one 3300. We have a Dell business account so most of the office is outfitted with Dells. We have used exclusively Vostro notebooks for the past 10 years. I just handed down my 7lb, Vostro 1500 to our bookeeper. Not quite an ultraportable.

    I told them I would quit if they made me buy the Vostro :D I almost bought a Sony Z a couple of times but the little 1410T I got a month or so ago has kept me from needing to buy something right at this minute. I have grown to like the 1410T (of course I installed BT, 4GB 800mhz DDR2 & Intel 40GB X25-V SSD). So, I can wait until Acer gets the 3820TG to the US. If something better comes along, I'll consider it.
