    Hello

I know that the 1Tb notebook disks are a bit wider, compared against the 640GB and lower.

Is it possible to add 1TB HDD to the XPS 15, or the muximum allowed is 640GB?

    Txs !!

what are the dimensions ? Anyways, as long as it is the 2.5" type, it should fit well

The XPS 15 should take any 2.5", 9.5mm hard drive. As far as I know, there are currently no 1TB drives in this form factor, but when they are released (soon, really), there is no reason they should not work.

actually, there are quite a few:
    Newegg.com - Computer Hardware,Hard Drives,Laptop Hard Drives,1TB

The down side is that they're pretty slow in terms of speed(read/write) and access time. :D
