Has anyone experienced this? I paired my phone As well as my brother's (HTC and XPeria X10)... when I send files from laptop to the phone it receives them but when I try to send files from the phone to the lappy it is not accepting until I manually right click and click "receive" ..... can anyone tell me how to bypass this feature and make the lappy receive automatically... or is it me who has this issue? :( thanks in advance

Am also having bluetooth transfer problems. Can pair with devices but cannot establish a connection with them thereafter. Also I do not see an option to send to bluetooth file in the windows explorer when I right click or a send file/ receive file option when I click on the bluetooth notification icon.

Called Dell tech support who after almost 2 hours of trying to figure out the problem told me that it was because of windows updates. So the only solution is to restore windows to factory settings. They aren't even sure if that will fix it.
Apparently Dell advises customers not to update windows. This was the first time I had ever heard this after owning an XPS for 4 years and having about 15 visits by Dell technicians to repair my system.

My problem with the whole windows updates is the problem as a diagnosis is that how come no one else who updates windows is experiencing the same problem with their bluetooth.

Oh also my AVG detects the latest bluetooth driver as a threat.

The windows update bit is going to be the biggest bunch of crap I've ever heard from Dell. The problem is more likely in the driver than anything.

It's that kind of advise that causes customers to get infected in the first place.

P.S. - Get in touch with another rep and if they continue that line then ask for a supervisor.
