I use a logitech optical mouse, let me give you the scenario

    1. The laptop is not connected to the power source
    2. The laptop was shutdown

The weird thing is that when I plugged in the mouse to the USB2.0/ESATA port the red optical under the mouse started glowing  , So I started up the system with the mouse attached and shut it down again everything was normal. Once the system was shutdown again I unplugged the mouse and plugged it back again..... Viola the mouse went berserk and started glowing again  . Has anybody else experienced this? Should I be worried cos of this? Can I do something to get this gliche off? Thank you

It's the USB PowerShare feature. It allows you to charge USB devices when the computer is powered on/off or in sleep state. Check page 27 of the Setup Guide. What you describe is the way it's supposed to work.
