So i have this XPS 1530 system, i have been using ubuntu for a while, but just craped out yesterday.. I thinking if i should wait and install debian 5.0 go back to ubuntu... Whats the best os besides windows that will use the power of the xps system to the limits "_" and make it work like an xps :)

in my experience, windows xp offers the most usability and is best suited for entertainment.

linux is fantastic for office work and study. being rock solid stable, fast and virus free its good for a dual boot setup.

I personally like ubuntu hardy, but fedora 10 is smart with compiz enabled for those flashy effects like the famous 'cube' & kde 4.

use this for windows xp to slim down the bloat, and make it personal to u

i use windows vista 64 and windows 7 64, i would use windows 7 as my primary, but i still got a lot of valuable software down in vista, but seriously, windows 7 is so much better than poor old vista ...

i used Ubuntu on my desktop, and i still do, its the coolest OS ive used, but i really have no use for it on my laptop since i like my games to run at full throttle, and not through Wine :D
