I'm thinking about buying an XPS 16 to replace my Inspiron 1520. Is the ATi 3670 much faster than my current GF8600M GT? And would the system be that much faster with the DDR3 memory and a P8600 compared to my current T7100 with DDR2, that it makes sense to pay ~1300€ for it??

i agree with pheonix.unless you really have 1300€ to blow then go for it. I mean if you just wanna upgrade because you want the newest there will always be something better later on. If i was in your shoe i would wait since that 1520 is still good for sometime.
