Does this laptop have an extruding battery?

I've seen several video reviews on youtube where it has something extruding in the area where battery normaly is yet saw one where it flat on the bottom.

The 9-cell battery extends out a bit, such that it lifts the back up about 1 inch. The 6-cell is flush to the bottom. Honestly, the 9-cell is better if you are going to push the system hard, it gets way better airflow sitting on a desk with the back propped up.
