I Have A Dell Xps M1730 With Geforce 8700 Gt Video Card, My Lcd Screen Is 1920 X1200.

When I Display Photographs In Any Of My Software Packages I See Colour Aliasing (blocking).

    I Have Tried:

    1) Latest Drivers From Dell - Same Result
    2) Latest Beta Driver From Nvidia - Same Result
    3) Connecting An External Dell Monitor Of The Same Resolution - Perfect.
    4) Contact Dell Support - No Help

    So Has Anybody:

    1) Come Across This Themselves
    2) Are There Any Fixes
    3) Can I Change My Video Card - Is This Practical, Or Is It Best Done By Dell.

    Thanks

    Graham.

above my expertise, but you can change your gpu, but why? if on the external monitor it is perfect, it isn't the gpu right. the screen is probably junk, i know the one i have is. all you can do is complain to dell and hope they replace your screen with something that looks better to you
