The x1530 was an earlyer version of the m1530
The m1530 had a bigger screen but a lesser graphics card and came out a little bit after the x1530 from what ive looked up.
But clearly you don't know if it would work so thanks anyways..

Ummmm, X1530..... Well I did a search for it and apparently this is a M1530 model from Best Buy which is where I bought my M1530. Appears to be the exact same computer, X1530 is part of the part number. Look above the keyboard. It should say XPS and to the right of that M1530. If not give us the specs.

seems the x1530 does exist..... Wow, now there is something i didn't know hehe :D

yeah almost all dell chargers that fit your computer will work, but you have to watch out for the wattage, if your computer has the 8400gs graphics card, then it requires an adapter of 65 watts to work 100%, if your computer has the 8600gt it requires an adapter of 90 watts to work 100%, i have used a 65 watt one with my xps that needs 90 watts, and it just downclocks the GPU a bit, but it still works without a problem.

FYI i have used a 65 watt adapter on a 30 watt latitude computer, it works no problem :D

If you look on the bottom of the computer it should have a sticker stating the power specs and newer ones should say which adapters to use.
