Hey guys,
I recently replaced the motherboard in my m1330 because it was completely dead. Before if I was to push the power button nothing would happen and if I plugged in the power cord the blue light would go out. Since replacing the motherboard, now if I push the power button the Bluetooth light on the power strip lights up like it is going to start up but then shuts off after about 3 sec, never actually booting up. Any ideas?

Double check all your connections, especially making sure the CPU and RAM are seated properly.

First question - is the DC adapter fully functional (and verified to be so?). If you have it plugged in, and then turn on the computer, does the blue light on the adapter stay on or fade out? I'm assuming this is something like the 90W adapter that has a ring around the plug. Maybe I misunderstood what you meant by blue light, though.
Secondly, assuming it is something to with the motherboard (or what's on it)...
Remove any additional cards (such as the bluetooth card, mSATA, miniPCI), reseat the RAM, and if you're feeling up for it I'd reseat the CPU just in case. If that doesn't work, maybe check if the CMOS battery is dead. As I recall, some motherboards will go into a failure mode just because the CMOS battery is dead (which doesn't make much sense to me, but oh well). -
Ive had power issues with my m1330 a few times. My laptop wasn't charging due to a bad power connection on the board which was fixed after replacing it. Did you buy the mobo new?
