    Hey,

I realise there are a lot of threads about this but I'm having trouble deciding between these 2 configurations.

Basically what it comes down to is for an extra AUD$180 I get a slightly faster processor, Vista Ultimate and an extra GB of ram. Now none of those are a really major upgrade by any means but you can't argue with the value for money you're getting with it.

The key thing here is by going over AUD$2500 you get 25% off, instead of the 15% for being above AUD$2000. Builds are below.

    Thoughts?

i see one been below 2000 and the other below 2500, are you saying to give 180 upgrade to qualify the extra 10%, do it, 25% off on 2500 is cheaper than 15% off on 2360

I'm confused by what you mean, but if it's really ~$1947 AUD for the T9500, 4GB RAM and Vista Ultimate then that's the better deal IMHO. It's also red, for the good cause etc. ;-)

Yeah sorry, I should've made that clearer.

The offer atm is 15% off if you spend over $2000, and 25% off if you spend over $2500.

    Quick excel table shows...
    $2,200 $1,870.00
    $2,300 $1,955.00
    $2,400 $2,040.00
    $2,500 $1,875.00
    $2,600 $1,950.00
    $2,700 $2,025.00

So yeah, that's why it's a tough decision.
