    I wonder if I should get a dell techie to fix my system..

    My fan starts like evey 5th. minute (cools it down, stops....5mins later it starts again) (Idle), which is pretty often i think!?
    I have the T9300 and bios rev. A09
    The forceware is 174.93 from dell (the temps on 174.74 seems to pretty much the same)

    My temps are:

    Idle:
    Cores: mid/late 40 to mid 50 (they get back to mid/late 40 when the fan sets in)
    GPU: mid/late 50 to mid 60

    Playing games:
    Cores: mid/late 60 to late 70 (have seen it on 81 once) - seems way too hot?
    GPU mid/late 70

    With undervolt down to 0.98

    Idle:
    Cores: mid/late 40 to mid 50 (they get back to mid 40 when the fan sets in)
    GPU: mid/late 50 to mid 60

    Playing games:
    Cores: mid 60 to 71 (better than without undervolt, but still a bit high !?)
    GPU: mid/late 70

    you think thats bad my 8400m gs vostro 1310 A10 is idling at 65C and 94C on load

    Is 80C for a stock T9300 and 71C undervolt not too hot ?

    My 24 hours old XPS M1540 temps are quite the same, though I OC'd my gpu.
