im looking at a system that was bought by a guy on june 6th, if i buy it from him can i still add complete care to it by any chance or am i stuck with the 3 year in hom on site that is on it already? i mainly want the accidental coverage on it..

You should be able to upgrade your warranty when you transfer ownership of the laptop (Dell has a form for that which you'll need to fill out).
-
From what I have read on the forums, the only time you can get the complete care is at the time of purchase. You might want to call Dell to confirm this. I know you can upgrade the warranty, but i'm not sure about the accident protection. I might be wrong.

i mean it has 3 year in home service now.. not sure if i really need complete care the only thing that will add for me is the accidental coverage correct??
-
okay well i bought it.. has anyone been able to squeak by and get complete care from dell after the 21 days?? is there any specific method to trying to get this??
-
Its not gunna happen dude. sorry.
Get 3rd party insurance. -
I thought I remember reading somewhere on the forum that people added complete care after they purchased their laptop.
-
it has to be within 21 days in the USA, and at time of purchase in the UK.

that sucks so no way i can do it??? man i guess i should have bought a different system instead of this one.. then i prob could have added it man that really sucks.. i can try my luck anyway maybe ill get lucky..

I added complete care a couple of months after I got my 1420. It cost $119 for three years. I`m not sure if not being the original buyer would exclude you from this add on. Hope this helps -
so then there may be hope... thanks...
